This fun yet intensive 6-week program is designed for students who are ready to transition into USCF-rated chess tournaments.

Classes will focus on strengthening logical and analytical thinking, sharpening tactical calculation, developing positional intuition, and mastering effective time management. Students will also learn advanced tournament strategies, opening preparation, and endgame techniques to compete with greater confidence and consistency.

Just as importantly, we will work on building mental resilience — helping students overcome the fear of losing and understand that losses are part of the journey to improvement. Players will learn how to manage emotions, stay focused after a tough game, and turn setbacks into valuable lessons.
