Event Types
UNRATED SCHOLASTIC TOURNAMENTS
Age Group: 5 - 11
1st THROUGH 6th GRADE
Unrated Tournaments are designed for children enrolled in 1st through 6th grade and school chess programs at the beginner or intermediate level. Players are not required to record their moves, and no USCF membership is needed. These tournaments are less competitive than rated events, creating a fun and supportive environment. Each child will play 4 games.
